Technology rich lesson

I thought this was a great way to learn how to create lessons. I've learned that sometimes lessons can be difficult to create. I also learned that sometimes the content you find isnt always good to use for it. The skills you need are to be able to tell what apps and technology tools you can use to go along with your lessons. Sometimes everything you find isn't relevent or work well for your topic. Its very important for the common core to go along with the assessment because it is important to make sure your teaching the proper material.

I think the use of these devices is ridiculous. I don't think schools should take having good attendance this seriously. Tracking students while in school is a little much. Some parents may think its a good idea because they don't always know if their child is skipping school alot, but putting a tracking chip into the students' ID's is over the top and I think this should be eliminated. And the school isn't even doing it for the sake of the students, they are doing it because the more students that attend school, the more money they get.

Evaluate websites

It is very important to evaluate a website. First of all, you need to make sure that the info is accurate. Unaccurate information can lead to confusion with the students. Another reason is you need to make sure the information isn't biased. If info is biased then you only get one side of information. Secondly, you need to make sure the website is appropriate for your students to be looking at. If it is not, it will not only cause problems with your students, but for you as well.

About me!

My name is Jocelyn Noel and I am 19 years old. I am from Nashua, NH. I am currently an Elementary Education major. My hopes are to become a kindergarten teacher or maybe even first grade. I have have two pets; a Bernese Mountain Dog named Nellie :) and a turtle named Herbert!

My goals for being a teacher are to be the absolute best teacher I can be for my students. I want to teach them everything I can. I also plan to try and accomodate several types of learning styles in my classroom. I am also very excited to intergrate many different types of technology.
